I am a Baltimore-based writer and editor who has worked for more than a decade in newspapers and magazines. I currently work as the editorial director of an online publication for physicians, where I manage content, publishing, and site direction.
I started my career as the cops reporter for a small community newspaper in Maryland before jumping to a national technology trade magazine. After attending graduate school at Medill School of Journalism in Chicago and traveling a bit in Central America, I returned to the area, settling in Baltimore to write for a now-defunct daily newspaper. I have continued to freelance and write the Baby Lessons blog for the Baltimore Post Examiner.
When I’m not writing, you can usually find me reading, running, slowly renovating a century-old rowhouse, and spending time with my 2-year-old son.
Here you will find some of my recent writing samples. Thanks for visiting, and please feel free to contact me.
